Latin jazz band “The Brew”

Best known in the California area for their remake of Hall & Oates “Sara Smile,” they have been played extensively on radio stations WAVE in Los Angeles, CA, various radio stations in Sonoma County, CA, the WAVE in Houston, and OASIS in Dallas. An accomplished band with an incredible grass roots following, The Brew has opened for such diverse notables as the Rippingtons, George Howard, Everette Harp, Jeff Lorber, Chuchito Valdez, Hiroshima, Acoustic Alchemy, Larry Corryel, and Kirk Whalum.

The Brew has been working on our 5th CD. We will keep you posted. Thanks for being the greatest friends and fans!!!

The Brew has spent a lot of time in the studio working on a new cd for release very soon.  Much anticipated is the release of The Brew's 5th CD in 20 years. Michael Rodriguez co-produced The Brew's first two albums, "In the Beginning" (1990) and "Rio Vista" (1995), which featured smooth jazz and rock and roll style originals, and produced the third "Latin Brew" (2001) and the"Rumba Caliente", their previous release.

Continually inspired by jazz and Latin artists, he has introduced a more organic, nouveau-flamenco flavor into the band's performances, following the influence of Ottmar Liebert, the Gipsy Kings, Jesse Cook, and Strunz and Farah.

" The sound of The Brew are clean, flowing and down right gorgeous..."

" The Brew is one of the hardest working band in Texas...
with a certain style charisma That isn't found in most bands."
